-DO YOU USE VEGETABLES IN THE MAKING OF YOUR BAGS?

No! Vegetable tanned leather  refers to the method of tanning the cowhide into leather. It’s called “vegetable” because of the natural materials used in the tanning process like tree barks, roots, leafs, acorns etc. It is a natural and sustainable process, is one of the oldest methods of tanning known to man. It has been around for centuries. our leather is free of chrome and pvc, many tanneries around the world still work with chrome compromising their workers health exposing them to this toxic materiales affects them directly with tuberculosis or skin cancer, we do not believe in working with tanneries who compromise the health of humans.

-DO YOU REALLY USE CACTUS LEATHER?

Our supplier in Mexico created a fiber made with Cactus with the same feeling and texture of a texturized or full grain leather. ¡Feels like a cowhide and it is certified by PETA as a vegan leather!

-WHO MAKES YOUR HANDBAGS?

They are made in Mexico City  by artisans with more than 20 years of experience in the industry, they have excellent skills working with leather and amazing attention to detail, this artisans have created accessories for brands like Casa Aries, Gucci, and Cartier in the late 70’s in Mexico City.

-HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY BAG?

Every leather is natural and unique; any tonal variations, marks or pattern variations SHOULD NOT BE CONSIDERED AS IMPERFECTIONS.

Vegetable tanned leather has no synthetic top finishes, therefore it is completely natural, this attribute allows the leather tone to become darker over time with the exposure to the sun! Also this leather is highly burnishable, meaning you can

rub it with a cloth to make it look lustrous. You can use a damp cloth to remove dust or certain stains, for more information contact your trusted leather expert.

We recommend to use saddle soap two or three times a year to maintain the color and give a uniform look to your handbag, Vegetable tanned leather is natural, tanned with natural resources, it has no artificial top coats so please do not use paint or any other cream to make it look pristine, for more information contact your trusted leather expert.

Our accessories comply with strict quality manufacture procedures, therefore we deliver a high quality finished product. If you receive a handbag that is damaged , with stains or malfunctions send us photographs and the shipping order to contact@lecuonashop.com, we'll take care of your handbag asap.

-WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY SHIPPING ORDER?

-If the product is in stock you will receive the order in 2-3 business day.

-If you made a pre-order expect 6 to 8 business days after your purchase, you will receive an order from FedEx, so expect 2 to 3 days after that date to receive your handbag.

-WHAT ARE THE SHIPPING COSTS?

Shippings in México are FREE!

For US Customers we offer a flat rate of $40 dlls

For  international customers please send an email to: contact@lecuonashop.com before your purchase to provide you with the best shipping method, 

Additional taxes and custom tariffs are responsibility of the customer. This can range from 20% to 40% of the order value, you must pay it when you receive the package at the door. In the remote case of loss, we are committed to fully return your money!

-DOES MY PURCHASE HAVE AN INSURANCE?

 All of our products have an insurance! !So in the remote case of loss or damage caused by the courier we will refund the total price of your bag.

-CAN I RETURN MY BAG? I PREFER ANOTHER ONE FROM THE COLLECTION!

-ALL SALES ARE FINAL WITH NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES.

-We only accept exchanges on unused FULL PRICE accessories that preserve their tags and packaging within 5 days of delivery date, send us an e-mail to provide you instructions for the return.

-WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SHIPMENT COSTS.

-You can exchange your bag for another one available in stock or 

for store credit to make a pre-order, we won't refund your money.

-CAN I RECEIVE AN INVOICE WITH MY PURCHASE?

Only if requested at the checkout or by e-mail you will receive an invoice as established by the law in México.

LECUONA  may accept certain credit card payments for the purchase of goods on the Site. There is no surcharge for using your credit card to make purchases. Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number (i.e. the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you). Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order, or may cause your order to be canceled. Your credit card will be billed upon checkout.

For multiple product orders, we will make every attempt to ship all products contained in the order at the same time. Products that are unavailable at the time of shipping will be shipped as they become available, unless you inform us otherwise. You will only be charged for products contained in a given shipment, plus any applicable shipping charges. You will only be charged for shipping at the rate quoted to you on your purchase receipt. The entirety of this shipping charge may be applied to the first product(s) shipped on a multiple shipment order.

LECUONA  reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason or to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item.

ACCESSORIES LOOK

LECUONA strives to display as accurately as possible the colors of the products shown on the Site. However, because the colors you see will depend on your monitor, LECUONA  cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any color will be accurate.

LIMITATIONS ON STOCK

LECUONA does not offer additional discounts on large orders of a single item or on large orders of many individual items. In addition, LECUONA reserves the right to limit quantities on orders placed by the same account, the same credit card, or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. We will notify you if such limits are applied.
